Liam Farrelly began performing stand-up at just 17 and quickly rose through the ranks, turning professional at 18. By 21, he had become a father and a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards, before making his Live At The Apollo debut at 22. With a sharp, relatable style and natural stage presence, Liam has become a standout act on the UK comedy circuit, impressing audiences and critics alike, particularly with his well-received solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
A native of Glasgow, Liam’s talent has taken him far beyond Scotland, with international gigs in the USA, Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia. He’s also supported top comedians including Russell Kane, Fern Brady, and Guz Khan on tour. His media appearances include Off The Ball (BBC Radio Scotland), Edinburgh Unlocked (BBC Scotland), and Fred At The Stand (BBC Radio 4), as well as being featured on Scots Squad and Live At The Apollo.
In 2021, he was named Scottish Comedian of the Year and praised for his natural storytelling and maturity beyond his years. With his career gaining momentum, Farrelly continues to cement his place as one of the UK’s most promising young comedians.
