GENERAL TERMS

  • For all tickets purchased, your name will be on the door at the entrance to the club. Please bring your E-Ticket with you as proof of purchase or you can show this on your mobile phone at the ticket booth. Your E-ticket will be issued within a few minutes from completing your purchase.
  • All ticketed show seating is unreserved (unless otherwise stated) and allocated by us prior to the performance. A member of staff will show you to your seats upon arrive. 
  • All bookings for ticketed shows under the same account will be sat together, if you or members of your group arrive late you may not be sat together.
  • If you are attending as a group and have made individual bookings but want to be sat together you must notify us of this request at least 48 hours before the scheduled show so we can make amendments to the seating plan, anybody who arrives in a group but has booked individually and hasn't notified us may be sat in seperates parts of the theatre. 
  • At least one full price ticket needs to be purchased to claim our free birthday ticket offer to ensure that birthday bookings are genuine bookings and avoid no shows on the night.
  • If you have purchased a concessionary ticket, you will be required to show appropriate proof of identification upon entry to the club. For groups of concessions, all parties must have their identification with them.
  • Any customers continually disrupting the show, using their mobile phones, heckling, shouting out or talking WILL be asked to leave.
  • Line-ups are correct at time of purchase, but may be subject to change. No refunds will be offered for changes to the lineup but we will always endeavour to replace with like for like performers. Customers will not be notified of any changes made to shows with multiple comedians performing.
  • Only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed on-site. If anybody is found to be consuming alcohol that they've brought in with them then they WILL be asked to leave.
  • Cameras are allowed in the venue but flash photography during performances is prohibited.
  • Recording equipment are strictly prohibited inside the venue.
  • Blackstock Market reserves the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances and is entitled to conduct security searches of persons and property to ensure the safety of all patrons inside the comedy club.
  • Any customer arriving and deemed to be too intoxicated or disruptive will be refused entry without refund.
  • Mobile phones, pagers and watches should be silenced before entering the performance room.
  • Blackstock Market reserves the right to make any alterations to advertised listings without notice.
  • Your ticket must not be re-sold for profit or commercial gain or by any outlet other than Blackstock Market or one of its authorised agents. Failure to comply will make this ticket void.
  • If a show is cancelled for any reason all customers will receive a credit note to use at a later date.
  • Our Customers enjoyment of the show is the most important to us. We expect members of the audience to respect the performers, other members of the audience, the staff and the venue. This means that we will do our utmost to ensure our customers can enjoy the show without interruptions to the show or people talking while the performers are on stage. If you are not interested in watching the show please do not spoil it for the other people who are.
  • If an audience member persistently interrupts a performer or if the heckling is vicious, racist, or in any other way offensive in our opinion we will take action to put a stop to it. In most cases this will firstly be a polite request for the offender to stop their heckling.
  • All ticket holders consent to the recording and filming of themselves as members of the audience As we record most shows and reserve the right to use any footage recorded how we see fit including publishing online across our social media channels. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchasr to let all members of the group know. If this isn't agreed then please do not purchase tickets. 
  • Blackstock Market conforms to the Data Protection Act 1998.

  • Due to a small number of people reserving tickets for our free entry shows and not attending or cancelling their tickets with enough notice we now have a 3 strike rule. If you reserve tickets for our free shows and dont attend or cancel 3 times in one year then your future free entry tickets will be automatically cancelled without notice. This is to ensure seats arent blocked off for other customers by people who have no intention of attending.
  • ID may be required which would need to match the name on your ticket to gain entry.  Free entry tickets are at a first serve basis from doors opening.
  • For any pre show meals at our Parlour Restaurant please arrive no later than 2 hours before your scheduled show to avoid missing the start of the show.
  • For the purposes of these Venue Terms, “Force Majeure” means any cause beyond Hot Water Comedy Club or the Organiser’s reasonable control, including, without limitation, any act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, royal death, national mourning (including as a result of a royal death), theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, national defence requirements or acts or regulations of national or local governments. Neither we nor the Organiser will be liable to you under these Venue Terms to the extent that any loss or failure of Hot Water Comedy Club/the organiser is caused by a Force Majeure event.

BOOKING/SECURITY INFORMATION

  • Tickets/Meals/Drinks Packages can only be exchanged if requested 14 days or more before the scheduled performance date for all shows at Hot Water Comedy Club, Hardman Street only. This request can only be done using the Help Centre on our website.
  • Refunds cannot be given for any shows or bookings.
  • If you do not turn up for your scheduled event (including drinks packages, meals or tickets) then no refund will be given.
  • We charge a booking fee per transaction which will be clearly displayed before completing your purchase.
  • All credit/debit card payments are fully secured.
  • For any tickets booked through our website for an event taking place at a different venue then your email address may be given to them for fulfilment of your ticket but not for marketing purposes.
  • If a show is cancelled a credit note will be given to the customer for tickets purchased.
  • If for any unforeseen reason a show is cancelled during the actual performance then a credit note or exchange will be offered If less than half way through the show. After this time no credit note will be offered. We will not refund and drinks or food orders from the bar but will allow time to finish these if at all possible.
  • Large Items such as rucksacks and shopping bags or bigger are too large and not allowed in the venue, we do not have a cloakroom so these items can not be brought along to the show due to health and safety as they can obstruct walkways, small handbags are fine for entrance.

Ticket Delivery

  • Immediately after you have booked your tickets, your ticket will be sent to you via email.
