Gearóid Farrelly is a Dublin-born stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster known for his sharp wit, engaging storytelling, and warm stage presence. He began his comedy career as a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and won the Bulmers Nuthin’ Butt Funny Comedy Award, leading to performances at major festivals like the Cologne Comedy Festival and The Cat Laughs in Kilkenny.

Farrelly has supported renowned comedians such as Joan Rivers, Tommy Tiernan, and Neil Delamere on tour. His television appearances include RTÉ’s The Panel, Craig Doyle Live, and Meet Your Neighbours, and he has contributed as a writer to shows like Republic of Telly.

In addition to his stand-up work, Gearóid hosts the podcast Fascinated, featuring interviews with various personalities, and co-hosts Agony Rants with Niamh Kavanagh. Both podcasts are part of the HeadStuff Podcast Network. He is openly gay and often incorporates his experiences into his comedy.

Farrelly continues to tour extensively, bringing his relatable humor and insightful observations to audiences across Ireland and beyond.
