Tez Baker is a stand-up comedian who proudly performs sitting down — on four wheels. Based near Glasgow, she brings a unique blend of North East England roots and a touch of West of Scotland flair, shaped by over 23 years of living in Scotland. Her comedy journey began with a 9-week course led by Scottish comic Raymond Mearns. Just one gig later, she was performing in the Disabled Cants show at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2023 — a bold and impressive start that quickly led to spots on multiple compilation shows during the festival.
Since then, Tez has become a familiar face on the comedy circuit across Glasgow and Edinburgh, grabbing the mic at every opportunity. She’s earned places on line-ups for the 2024 Glasgow International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe, with more in the pipeline.
