Yes, Blackstock Market is a vibrant multi-purpose entertainment venue offering something for everyone! We have live music every night the venue is open, as well as shows every Wednesday to Sunday night at the world-famous Hot Water Comedy Club, located right here.Our Whisky & Water bar also hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night, creating the perfect weekend atmosphere. For sports fans, we show all major live sporting events on over 20 screens throughout the venue, including our impressive 5-metre main stage screen.
Yes, we welcome dogs at Blackstock Market! However, please note that dogs are not permitted inside any of our theatre spaces or Whisky and Water, except for service dogs.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the venue. We kindly ask smokers to use the designated smoking area at the front, away from the entrance, to keep the walkway clear for other customers. We also have a smoking terrace on the mezzanine level of our venue for your convenience.
To provide a smoother and more secure experience for everyone, we now a cashless venue. We accept card payments only.
Children are welcome at Blackstock Market provided they are accompanied with an adult over 18. Our licence allows under 18s in strictly until 10pm, all children under 18 must leave by this time.Additionally, no children are allowed at the Roof Garden and in Whisky & Water bar at any point.
Yes, you can reserve a table for food and/or drinks at Blackstock Market, and we also welcome walk-ins. For larger parties or events, we offer a variety of hireable spaces, ranging from public areas to private rooms, to suit any occasion.

There is no dress code for Blackstock Market, and you are welcome to attend in whatever attire makes you feel comfortable.If you've also booked a show or a visit to Blackstock roof garden, please refer to the dress code policy for Hot Water Comedy Club and for Blackstock Roof Garden.
Tables are not guaranteed after the scheduled end time of your booking, as we may have other bookings coming in. However, if the space isn’t needed straight away, you’re more than welcome to stay and enjoy your table for longer.Feel free to ask a member of staff on the day, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Yes, every part of Blackstock Market is wheelchair accessible, including accessible toilets and Changing Places facilities. All of our theatres also offer wheelchair-accessible seating.If you are attending a show, please contact our team after booking your tickets, as wheelchair-accessible seats need to be prepared in advance to ensure the best experience.For any additional needs, our team is happy to assist. There’s free on-street parking available in allocated areas directly outside and on surrounding roads - Generally free parking is up to 4 hours on non-match days and up to 2 hours on match days. We highly recommend checking local signage before leaving your vehicle, as restrictions can vary and may be subject to change.If you’re planning to stay longer, there are a number of multi-storey car parks within walking distance. All our shows offer theatre-style seating, with most being unreserved unless you have the option to select your seat during checkout.

For unreserved shows, seating is allocated upon arrival. Arriving earlier in the queue may give you more choice, but this depends on the seating arrangement for the night and the size of your group.

If your group has booked separate tickets and you wish to sit together, it is essential to Whatsapp us at least 24 hours before the scheduled performance.

If you’ve booked an event at Hot Water Comedy Club, tickets for our regular, repeated weekly shows can be transferred to another date or credited to your account if requested at least 14 days before the scheduled performance. This applies only to bookings made directly on the Hot Water Comedy Club website. This can only be done via Whatsapp and cannot be done over the phone.

Externally promoted shows and tour shows are non-transferable and cannot be cancelled. Refunds are not available for any events.

All events offer the option to purchase TicketPlan during checkout, which provides protection for your tickets. If you purchased TicketPlan, you’ll need to contact them directly to make a claim, provided it meets their eligibility criteria, as they operate independently.

Transfer policies for other venues or solo tour shows may differ, so please check these before purchasing.

Yes, Blackstock Market offers a variety of hireable spaces to suit any occasion.

The name on the ticket does not need to match the attendee. As long as the person arriving provides the booking name and a copy of the e-ticket, they can gain entry. This is common when tickets are purchased as gifts.

Please note that we strictly do not allow the resale of tickets. If there are concerns about resold or fraudulent tickets, the first person to arrive with the e-tickets will be allowed entry. Any other person or group attempting to attend with the same tickets will be refused entry.

Important - If your ticket includes a photo or signed item with the legends please arrive 2 hours before the show start time on your ticket and the event listing.

If you’ve purchased tickets but haven’t received them, please check your junk or spam folder as they may have been filtered there. You can also log in to your account to download your tickets here.All tickets are e-tickets and are sent instantly via email at the time of purchase. Additionally, tickets for all shows at the venue will be sent via SMS on the day of the event for your convenience.
Occasionally, we may need to replace an advertised act for various reasons. In such cases, we will always substitute them with a like-for-like performer who we are confident will deliver a fantastic show.Our standard policy applies: “Line-ups are correct at the time of purchase but may be subject to change. No refunds will be offered for changes to the lineup, but we will always strive to replace with comparable performers.For shows featuring multiple comedians, customers will not be notified of any changes to the lineup.”
TicketPlan, is an optional service offered by Hot Water Comedy and Blackstock Market and administered by TicketPlan. It provides protection for your tickets (excluding food and drink add-ons) in case you are unable to attend due to accidents, travel disruptions, or unexpected illnesses.This service is not an insurance policy, and terms and conditions apply. Hot Water Comedy Club gift vouchers can only be used on the Hot Water Comedy Club or Blackstock Market websites and can be redeemed during the checkout process.While some drinks options available during the checkout process can be purchased using gift vouchers, they cannot currently be used on-site for food or drinks once you visit the venue.

Yes, Blackstock Market is open to customers who want to enjoy food and drinks without attending any comedy club events. The events take place in separate areas of the venue, so you can visit freely without booking a show. Entry to Blackstock Market is always free, and while you can book a table in most parts of the venue, walk-ins are welcome at all times.
When you arrive, you can order food and drinks in several ways. We have multiple bars across the venue where you can place your order directly. Additionally, all tables are equipped with QR codes, allowing you to order food and drinks conveniently from your seat. With 8 different food traders available, you can order from any of them in a single transaction, whether at the bar or via the QR code system.
Yes, you can enjoy food before or after your show. Blackstock Market, Liverpool’s biggest food market, features 9 food traders open until 10pm, making dining before or after most shows possible. Please check your ticket for show times and allow enough time if eating beforehand.
Yes, we do! Our food menu includes a range of gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options. The menu highlights which items are suitable for specific dietary needs, so you can easily find something to enjoy.
We do not offer delivery, but takeaway is available from most of our food traders. To order takeaway, you can place your order at the bar or using the QR codes located throughout the venue.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for food and drinks. If you experience any issues with your order, please speak to a member of our team at the time, and we will do our best to resolve the matter for you.
Drinks can be pre-ordered for any Hot Water Comedy Club show by choosing from our available offers during the ticket checkout process. When collecting your pre order drinks (or merchandise pre order add ons) please visit the bar and display your e ticket for your pre order items. For all other food and drink orders related to standard bookings or table reservations, these can be made upon arrival. You can place your order at any of our bars or by using the QR code ordering system at your table. If you’re planning a larger group booking or private hire, we offer food and drink packages. Please enquire and include any specific requirements for food and drink packages in your enquiry.
We recommend arriving at least 1 hour before the scheduled door opening time for your show if you’d like to enjoy a meal beforehand. The door opening time will be clearly displayed on your ticket to help you plan your visit. Additionally, all food traders remain open until 10pm each night, so for some shows, you’ll also have the option to enjoy a meal afterward.

Safeguarding and Welfare

A trained staff member will remain with your child and provide reassurance. They will be taken to the designated Welfare or Lost Children Point. Your child will never be left unsupervised.
We treat vulnerable adults with the same priority as children. Staff will remain with them, support them and arrange for safe reunion through the Welfare point.
You will be directed to the Welfare or Lost Persons Point where simple identification checks will take place before reunion.
No. For safety, staff will only use general descriptors such as clothing and estimated age. Names are never transmitted over radio.
Yes. Only DBS checked staff supervise children or vulnerable adults. All staff are trained in safeguarding and incident response.
If the child or vulnerable person cannot be located within an agreed time, or if there is any immediate risk, Police Services will be contacted.
